Getting There

It’s not easy to get to El Dorado, Arkansas—thank you for making the journey!

For Groups: Fly to Monroe (MLU), Texarkana (TXK), Shreveport (SHV), or Little Rock (LIT)

We recommend you fly into either Monroe, Texarkana, Shreveport or Little Rock, and rent a car to drive to El Dorado.

The drive times range from the shortest— an hour and a half from Monroe— to a little over two hours from Little Rock.

It’s best to explore every option for the best price—Little Rock has the most flights per day.

For Individuals: Direct to El Dorado, AR (ELD), unless you don’t like small planes : )

It is possible to fly directly into El Dorado via Southern Airways Express. The plane holds 6-8 passengers.

There are two flights a day from Dallas (DFW) and one from Memphis (MEM)—both cost around $100 each way.

That’s 18 seats into El Dorado on Thursday & Friday—and 18 out on Sunday & Monday.

That’s only if you book them now—like right now. BOOK THOSE LEGS NOW.

You can choose the flights to and from where you live and DFW or MEM later, the sweet spot for discount airlines is 2-4 months—Allegiant and Spirit haven’t released their flights to those locations yet.

Logistics for a transfer at DFW from your airline to Southern Airways.

You will need more than an hour to make the transfer to Southern Airways at the corporate aviation terminal in Dallas, as you have to leave the main terminal area at DFW, exit security, and call the free shuttle at (214) 432-4837, which takes 10-15 minutes to arrive. If you have any troubles, call the main line at (800) 329-0485.

You can arrive up to 15 minutes before your flight as long as you call to confirm. This also means you can fly to Dallas Love (Southwest Hub) and take an Uber across town—budget 1hr 30m for that transfer.
